
SIDEMEN MEDIA GROUP LAUNCHES CREATIVE AGENCY

Arcade Media, which is partnered with the London-based septet known as the Sidemen, has launched an agency wing called Arcade Creative. A press release from Arcade describes the new creative division as “a fully dedicated, creator-first agency” that will help brands reach the Sidemen’s passionate audience of Gen Z fans. Arcade Creative partners will work alongside the Sidemen to ideate and launch campaigns.
MR BEAST HIRES FMR YT, META & TIKTOK EXEC

MrBeast is expanding his ops team in a big way. Former YouTube, Meta, and TikTok exec Beau Avril is joining as his new Senior Vice President and Global Head of Media & Brand Partnerships. By bringing in someone of Avril’s pedigree to lead media and brand partnerships shows MrBeast is likely not only looking at sponsorships for YouTube content–he’s also eyeing long-term relationships with streamers like Prime Video.
MATPAT JOINS CONGRESSIONAL CREATORS CAUCUS

After nearly a year of lobbying for the creator economy on Capitol Hill, MatPat and Stephanie Patrick have joined the official Congressional Creators Caucus, launched by Reps. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) and Beth Van Duyne (R-TX). The caucus, which includes Clarke, Van Duyne, other reps, and multiple creators like the Patricks, plans to educate not-so-internet-savvy members of Congress about how economically and socially significant the content creation industry has become–and how the people powering it need more support and protection.
